Fifth installment of Iranian popular series ‘The Capital’ will feature adventures in "weird" settings, the director says.
“The latest season of the series is full of adventures and will take place in weired as well as new settings,” Sirous Moghaddam told media Wednesday about ‘The Capital 5’, adding, “For example, when a hot air balloon carrying 15 people crashes in the ocean.”
Answering a question regarding how he featured Daesh in his series, he said the actors “enter a country to do something, though they ended up in a spot they fail to know where it is. When they open their eyes, they saw themselves being caught in a situation which shocks them.”
Four seasons of the series ‘The Capital’, directed by Siroos Moghaddam, already came out in 2011, 2013, 2014 and 2015.
The first season started with the story of a family's migration from the small town of Aliabad to the capital, Tehran, and troubles they encounter.
